Jersey Boys tells the story of Frankie Valli and company as they make the journey from the streets of Newark, New Jersey to international superstardom and pop culture success, and the production of such hits as “Sherry” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry” is phenomenal. Vegas Gaming Revenue Jumps 16 Percent in June

Bellagio Vegas Gaming

Even in an uncertain economy, Las Vegas continues to grow. In the month of June, statewide gambling revenue jumped 16 percent. This was the second straight month of increases of 10 percent or more, and the largest since February 2010. Most of the revenue came from high-spending baccarat players, so it sounds like more people need to head to our gambling section and check out How to Play Baccarat. Slot machines and table games also saw a significant increase, pointing to a recovery of the Vegas area as a whole. We’re happy to see that Vegas is doing well, and if you want to head out there and get going with the gambling, we have a deal for you at the Bellagio.

Death at the Hard Rock Las Vegas Man Falls Nine Stories

A man fell nine stories to his death at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.  The 38 year old executive who climbed out onto a railing and lost his balance and fell to his death.

This will probably give the brand owners of the Hard Rock more ammunition against Rehab Party at the Hard Rock.  The TV show Rehab was cancelled this year due to a trademark lawsuit this past September.

Hard rock Cafe International said that the Las Vegas Parties were tarnishing the Hard Rock brand.  We see it otherwise, but our guess is that the Hard Rock Las Vegas wasn’t making any money on the casino floor because all the Partyer’s were scaring away the paying clients.

Hard Rock Hotel Fire

There is vulgar language in the YouTube post (NSFW)

Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas had a small fire due to an air conditioning unit on the second floor overheating in a wall being built. Heavy Smoke alerted security and guests, there were no smoke detectors/alarms in the new construction area.

The evacuation lasted for two hours, can’t be too safe. I hope the guests got free drink coupons.

There were no serious injuries, but one hotel swcuity staff went to the hospital due to smote inhalation, we hope it is not Deebo from Rehab.

The fire interupted everything from the opening day of the NFL at the sportsbook to the Rehab pool party.

The first five floors suffered from smoke and water damage.

Drug Bust at Rehab Pool Party

The Rehab pool party ended Sunday with handcuffs for eight people accused of dealing drugs and offering sex at the event. Undercover Metro officers made eight arrests Sunday at the Hard Rock’s popular pool party.

This is of Metro’s crackdown on illegal activity at poolside parties. Most of the suspects are from out of town.

Rehab is only the latest to have been hit by Metro’s Vice Unit. Last month, Prive was temporarily shut down and fined. Several people were also arrested at the Rio’s pool for lewd conduct.

The Glove was part of the first auction of Jackson memorabilia since his death.

The auction took place in Australia where Jackson threw the glove to a fan after one of his concerts “Down Under” in 1996.

The final auction price was nearly 50-thousand dollars.
