Vegas Pools Close September 25

Best Vegas Pools

With the coming fall and winter months, Vegas pools will be closing September 25. But don’t worry, some pools are open year-round for those of you that just can’t wait.

The Mirage, for example, is open year-round, and all four of Caesars‘ pools are heated to 78 degrees and open the whole year as well. Four Seasons, which is part of Mandalay Bay, is open year-round from 10am to sunset, and they even have disposable swimsuits available for use. Also, the MGM Grand‘s Grand Pool area is open year round.

So there you have it. For those of you that want the year-round Vegas pool experience, those are the pools that will take care of you. Enjoy, and for more information on all of these pools and the hotels they are in, check out the Vegas iPhone App. Enjoy, and be sure to head to Vegas Hipster, find us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter!

Mirage Tigers Closed and New Aquarium opens

Mirage TigerMirage Aquarium

Mirage makes a move to close the Free White Tigers exhibit to open up new restaurants. Well this is not my favorite of exhibit in Vegas and I have never made a special visit to go see them.

In fact, the last time I saw them was by accident. On my way in from the strip to see the new aquarium behind the front desk I realized that I would be passing by the Free White Tiger exhibit, and yes I did stop to look, but all I saw was a sleeping tiger, that is the usual fare for most of the Vegas Tiger Exhibits I have seen.

If you are interested in seeing the Tigers at the Mirage they are now located in the Siegfried and Roy Secret Garden for $15.00

If you saw the picture above of the Mirage’s Front Desk Aquarium, it looks very cloudy, well it was. I took a lot of pictures in the lobby but it is very dark. The Aquarium looked to be freshly installed even though it has been there a while. My guess that the Mirage Aquarium just got cleaned and the persons taking care of the Salt Water tank stirred it up.
